Guided Tours of Timber Lake are provided by Clearwater Tours. Clearwater Tours has employed highly experienced guides that specialise in all of the techniques and tactics that maybe used on the lake. All guides have extensive fishing knowledge of the lake (as well as many other waters).

When you are on a guided tour of the lake, you may ask to be instructed on any of the following topics:

· Casting tuition for Bait Casters (overhead reels) , Spin Rods and Fly Rods

· Knot tying and gear setup

· Setting up Lures and Flies for Optimal performance

· Use of Surface Lures (wire and hard bodied)

· Use of Spinner Baits and Inline Spinners

· Use of Hard Bodied Shallow Diving Lures

· Use of Hard Bodied Deep Diving Lures

· Use of Soft Plastic Lures

· Use of Flies

· Cast and Retrieve tactics and methods

· Trolling tactics and methods

· Fly Fishing tactics and methods (both cast and retrieve and trolling).
