The savage surface strike of large Murray Cod at Timber Lake has astounded many seasoned anglers. In fact some have had to sit down after a big strike as the sound alone is enough to make you weak at the knees.

Timber Lake is a man made lake in the Otways Hinterland,  Victoria, Australia. The Lake is a Private, Catch and Release, Native Fishery that is unparalleled in Victoria and Australia.

The Lake has been stocked with Murray Cod, Golden Perch and  Silver Perch and has been continually developed since 1989 when it was initially stocked.

Timber Lake Tours provide guided and unguided tours of the lake. Hhighly experienced fishing guides are able to provide tuition in all styles of fishing, techniques and tactics.

Timber Lake is Lure and Fly Fishing only. Use of Bait or Burley is not permitted on Timber Lake. Catch and Release techniques must be used at all times.
